Weston-on-Trent

Our mooring near Weston-on-Trent was again next to a nice wide mown grass verge, with a hedge beyond. The hedge consists largely of Hawthorn bushes, with loads of red berries. There are quite a few clumps of Common Nettle on the hedge side of the verge, and a few spindly Horsetails. I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's a Field Horsetail.

We also had a visitor to the boat, a 7-Spot ladybird

We have evidence of a visiting mole as well, although we didn’t actually see it!

Mole hill!
I haven’t been out looking for bugs as most of the time it’s been too windy & occasionally wet. One moth flew into the rear canopy & then disappeared down below before I could catch or photograph it. Maybe it’ll turn up later.
