Knighton, Staffs

We spent a night near Nighton, a lovely rural mooring with the Wrekin in the background.

I caught a Window Gnat (Sylvicola fenestralis) onboard in my bug pot , funnily enough on the window.

Beside the boat was some Red Clover (Trifolium pratense), with it's distinctive white 'V'marking on the leaves.

Whilst out walking V across the field opposite I came across a rather nice plant  that I've never seen before, so I thought I'd add it even though it wasn't beside M.
